Atlanta Wine Show Seminars
Connect With Wine is the official Wine Seminar Sponsor for the Atlanta Wine Show. In developing seminars, our goal is to provide short, intensives (60 minutes or less) that accentuate your Wine Show experience. We place a high value on education for pragmatic sake, and people's wine lifestyles have been enhanced through our courses--so they have told us!

As the day is short (1pm - 5pm) we have lined up two seminars. Our seminar room at The Fox will only hold twenty, so first come, first served. RSVP your place now.

Seminar I: Traditional Blends & Emerging Trends--What's HOT!?
11:30am - 12:30pm (these attendees will be the first to enter the show at 1pm);
Speaker: Wine Educator, Jeff Emmons
$10 payable at door

Seminar 2: New Zealand & Austrailia: Wine & Cheese Adventure
1pm - 2pm
Speaker: Brady Lowe of The Taste Network
$10 payable at door

Pinot Noir: A Structured Tasting
Wednesday, February 11th
d'Vine Wine Bar
6:30pm, $25

Five different small-producer Pinot's spanning France, Oregon, California and New Zealand. Elegance in a glass, silky Pinot is the ballerina to Bordeaux the linebacker. Limited to 24 people, easy parking, Champagne and light snacks provided. (10 seats left)

One-night only discounts on wine also! RSVP here

During the last year we've received many requests for promotion of other events. As this newsletter is seen by over 12,000 in Atlanta, it is likely the largest database of wine enthusiasts and can be an important channel for promotion.

In promoting other's events, I've learned that not all events are produced with the same passion, attention to detail, or emphasis on pragmatic learning value as our's. Thus as I list other's events, I have done so with two thoughts in mind:
means you will get a value for $
means we've negotiated a deal

A rising tide raises all ships, so the better and more numerous the wine events in Atlanta, the more we come to know wine! Visit the section here.

January & February Drawing
A Weekend in the Mountains!

Duke's Creek, in the Heritage Preserve of Smithgall Woods

In twenty-four days this drawing will run its course. I was surprised to learn given the size of our recipient list that only 220 entries have occured in the last 30 days! What odds! How often does someone get a 1/220 chance to win a $500+ weekend in mother nature's lap??

Oh, and you may recall that for every time you "forward to a friend" above it will multiply your drawing entry by the number of forwards. Technology is great.

Once again, here is the offer: Two nights, double occupancy, and one year to use the certificate, with a few black-out periods.

Visit our website here to enter the drawing.

Too seldom do I review wines to share with others. I'm trying to change that! One particular retailer joined up with me to provide some great buys on these wines. Plenty of good deals still abound for under $20 bottles. List here
